hi, my hero 7 has done exactly that. i can still use it but its bloody annoying, if gopro know about this issue maybe some more customer care would be good, this is the second gopro i have had the hero 4 was a lot easier to do vids with obviously using less space, maybe they make the cameras so they don’t last so you get a new one. i think they should do trade up options for disgruntled users..
